WarStars 2001 dual channel moving image Installation with dual stereo soundtrack WarStars is the first part of a trilogy of moving image works produced for gallery installation. Composed as a series of short interrelated films for presentation as a twin screen installation, WarStars is concerned with abstracting images and creating sequences which refer to the figure in the landscape and to the natural phenomena - ice, water, sulphur and lava - found in Iceland. WarStars is accompanied by original scores commissioned from leading Icelandic composer Biogen which have been linked to create stereo soundscapes.
