HOWARD KOCH:You Must Remember This... This documentary which is in the collection of MoMA, profiles the career of Academy Award-winning screenwriter Howard Koch (1901-1995), best know for such classic films as The Sea Hawk (1940), The Letter (1940), Sergeant York (1941), Letter from an Unknown Woman (1948) and Casablanca (1942). During the late Forties he was blacklisted, moved to Europe, and did not receive Hollywood screenplay credits again until the Sixties. The video includes interviews with Howard Koch and his wife of fifty years, as well as historical footage and excerpts from his films.
