NAKED SOLDIERS film (Trailer)

75 mins/Digital/UK, Cabo Verde/2025. A loosely shot film of Mark Norfolk's stage play about two men on the run from justice with English dialogue and subtitles in Cape Verdean Creole and Portuguese. The play was originally staged in 2010 at the Warehouse Theatre in UK and was re-staged in 2022 in Cabo Verde, produced by Teatro Independent De Cabo Verde (TICAVE) and Ka Zimba Theatre touring across three of the islands with a mixed cast of British and local actors. It was while on a break in Sal, that the idea came to shoot the play in the newly acquired TICAVE building over one day using a domestic MP4 camera.
